I don't think the loss of Carr can be overestimated. He was a stud college QB who made throws 99% of the other quarterbacks in the NCAA couldn't. His velocity, accuracy made the offense a machine last season...I don't think Fresno will see anywhere near the results they did last year. Defense looked good to start last season, but quickly turned into a sieve. Against one of the top O-lines in the nation, a double threat QB, a top-flight back in Davis, and a good receiving corps even withouth Evans, Wisky is going to score a bunch of points tonight.
The only question to me is Wisky's D. They were terrible last season and only return 3 starters. But if they were so bad last year, having 8 new starters might not be the worst thing that could happen. Line has obviously moved up over 7, which would have been a great line to play them straight. I think the tease to under a FG is key here. Wisky should put at least 30 on the board...just a matter of how poor or good their defense plays.
