For the play-offs to date, 8-3/+4.85 units.

Anaheim -169 over Twins - Intertops

I will resist the urge to make a daring call here and just stick with a boring (but solid) baseball pick. Angels are just too tough when they play against lefties. They are hitting .353 in their last 10 games against them. I know someone is saying "yeah right Irish, but that's only their last 10 game so those stats mean little". Well for the year at home thay are hitting .308 against lefthanders, and .294 overall. Trust me they have much the best of it offensively today. No one in the AL hits them better than Anaheim while Twins often struggle against southpaws themselves. The Angels also have an edge on the mound today IMO. Washburn can just eat up teams like this. He is 2-0 against them this year. After facing the Yankees on the road in the last series, pitching against the Twins at home will be a welcomed relief. And probably a win for him as well.

Let me remind folks that the Twins will not lay down and Milton is more than capable. Though he was only 1-2 this year against Anaheim and was bombed in one start he is on fire right now and dangerous. He is 3-0 in his last 3 starts with a very low ERA. My point is I believe the Angels are the right side today especially at home but ignore the idiots that are out here yelling this one is a lock. Twins are always capable to beat you, especially with a guy throwing as well as Milton. Take the play but don't go crazy and risk more than you normally would based on "everyone likes it". I try to not make a habit of playing games "everyone else likes". LOL. It can get expensive.

Good luck men!

Everybody was on the bandwagon on St. Louis in the 1st game of the series yet Reuter was a home grown product and 5-0 @
Bush Stadium. Today we have 1 similar circumstance which is Milton is 4-0 with a 1.50 era in 5 starts @Edison Field (Cleveland Plain Dealer) Before joining M.Jacks there are a handfull of Cappers I'D check before making a final decision. You being one of them. Nice write - up but like you said tread lightly on the Angels
