Tough day yesterday....that Mariner loss still stings a bit.....My Jays finally get rid of Brandon League, and yet, that guy still haunts me....
DODGERS/PADRES over 8 (-107) Garland's ERA is keeping this total down, but his K/BB is begging for trouble....Ramon Ortiz makes first start since 2007 and has given up 13 ER in 22.2 IP out of the pen to date....Dodgers bats came alive in trip to Arizona....
ATLANTA BRAVES (-123) Kawakami has lost each start he has made this year, but maybe a visit by the D-Backs will get him off the schneid....Arizona was outscored something like 53-15 in 6 straight losses at home this week to Milwaukee and LA....Braves may have a bit more confidence after finally scoring some runs in sweeping Milwaukee earlier in the week
CHICAGO WHITE SOX (-133) Buehrle is ready for a big outing and Meche, who has been poor at best this year, comes off a 128 pitch performance last out....Last year he threw 132 in an outing and hasn't been the same since....
