lookin at the following and trying to come up with a good parlay play. Will post it soon .
1. Utah / Toronto
Utah -1.5 first half and favouring under 89.5 first half
Utah has been playing strong first half on the road. Also in the games since Carter has gone on the IL after the first quarter Toronto had quit in the second quarter. I was trying to analyze why and few things that I noticed are :
beginning of second quarter : antonio davis went to bench.
Morris Peterson sat down to take rest. Same for Clark after around 3-4 minutes in second quarter ..
Thats when the other bench players come in and the other team takes advantage. Utah would like to go further up in the ladder in the western conference and this is a golden opportunity for them.
Have been watching this utah team and like the new rookie guys a lot. Bring some energy. Also unlike NYK who played beyond ridiculous the other day against Toronto Jazz is a very seasoned team and will not let lead slip away.
Another factor may or may not affect the game. Canadian Ice hockey team plays at 6pm today in Salt Lake City. Toronto being ice hockey craZY city like the rest of Canada wonder how many people will come to see a raptors team w/o Carter. If crowd support is not there .. that will go against the Raptors ..
Also favouring the Under heavily here for the full game. Raptors cannot score a lot of points consistently for 48 minutes. Jazz may try to slow down pace of game since they played a game in Philly yesterday .. had to go thru Customs and land in Toronto at night .. so not a lot of rest as such ..
2. Detroit at New York
Like Detroit @ +2.5 and Over 184
NYK are not playing as if they want to get into playoffs. Detroit on the other hand have been playing real hard. Detroit if i remember the stats correctly are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. NYK is 1-6 in last 7 I think. After the horrible display of basketball that the NYK team is capable of it is wise to leave them alone. But in this game I am giving a lot of attention to the mentality of the players. Detroit is playing hard. .. very important in my opinion.
Also they can match up nicely inside. Detroit should have a good rebounding edge with Camby outside the lineup.
Aslo am favouring the Over on this one. Both teams should play fast and this may cause turnovers and fast points.
3. New Jersey / Chicago
Like the Over for this one. Chicago has been a good bet ATS for the season. Nets have lost 2 in a row. The line @ -9 for NJ seems very favourable as they should win by double digits easily. But then again nothin is sure ..
I think the Over is a better bet here. Chicago has been scoring 91 to 93 in the last few games and NJ should be able to match that atleast. If they go overboard and drop in a ton of points no problemo .. that will help ..
Am looking at the other games .. these are ones I have looked at so far.
