NIU +1.......$50.....not wagering to much on them, but Coach Novak seems determined to beat BG. he even had closed practices during the week. Im looking for a revenge factor here. NIU was #12 when they went into BG and lost last year and 2 years ago they lost at home to them. I'm looking for a solid performace from their running game tonight. their 1-2 record is deceiving. they lost at Maryland by 3 and at Iowa St by 7 and they did beat the #1 div 1AA school in SIU. should be a great game

just a fwiw -- northern illinois did not lose to bgsu 2 yrs ago in dekalb. they upset bowling green 26-17 when they were a ranked team.

all things being accounted for, i still think bgsu wins the game tonight but i cant fault you at all for backing niu -- novak is definitely one of the best mid major coaches in the country and you never hear a thing about him. his teams are always prepared. not gonna be easy for either team tonight

thanks for the correction. yea i was thinking about 3 years ago, my bad. good luck tonight gman. its a tough bet, but i heard Novak on the radio yesterday and he seems very pumped about this game. he really wants to make it to the MAC championship this year.
