This is a tough game to call... CUBS NEED to rebound after yesterday's disaster, and with LIEBER at 7-1 at home that looks like a strong possibility. ESTES has struggled, walking way too many batters, but I just noticed HIRSCHBECK behind the plate, BIG TIME UNDER GUY, wind in at 15 MPH, looks like a patented 3-1 CUBS WIN GAME. Doesn't hurt that BONDS doesn't hit LIEBER, so he's sitting.

I'm glad to see you TWO agree... was beginning to wonder if ANY ONE was on this game, very little posted on it. I was hesitant on the UNDER, but not with HIRSCHBECK and the wind. The UMP should definitely cut down on ESTES's walks, and LIEBER has great stuff and hopefully shuts down the Giants bats. ALSO, CUBS played sloppy ball yesterday, probably the heat, and being from the Midwest, when it rains and clears, you feel like a schoolboy in LOVE the next day~~ floating on air! Should rejuvenate the CUBS! Also, GIANTS are NOT used to that humidity, living in SAN FRAN.

It should help the grip on the ball and concentration, cut down on errors and walks.
SAN FRAN played a tough game in the heat at CINCY, and then got in late last nite, so they should be beat. Hence, the old guys sit, Gallaraga and Bonds. On paper, this game has UNDER written all over it, now let's just execute and get it done.

BTW... UP until this year, I would've shudderd at the thought of going UNDER 7 at Wrigley with the wet noodle arms they usually had going for them. BUT I've had a lot of success this year doing it. It's scary no doubt, but with CUBS not scoring, and the guys they got starting, these day games have been UNDER like 65%. J. HIRSHBECK is also 65% Under at 15-8, and has the HIGHEST Strikeout to Walk ratio in MLB, at 2.9 K's to each BB. Wind at 10-20 also is a 60% UNDER play in Chicago.

yes, i liked the CUBZ and UNDER in this game as well, but couldn't pull the trigger...

CUBS are 7-3 at home vs lefties.
and san fran is 15-23 on rd vs righties...?

already did writeups on the first couple games and lost them when I accidently SHUT DOWN my puter when McGRIFF went deep, and sent that DAGGER into my chest...

Los Angeles at PHILA

LA is a streaky team, and I look for them to continue that here tonite. LA is 3-12 in GAME 1 after a loss, while PHIL is 13-8 in Game 1 after a loss. PHIL is 4-1 at home in last five, and BALDWIN is a much better HOME pitcher than on the road for some reason. BOTH teams KNOW they have to keep winning, but with SF losing, LA may be a little too relaxed for PHILLY. This game is looking like an UNDER also, but will wait for UMP info before deciding on that.

This game matches up TWO of the best money makers. HOU is +1185 on the road VS RH, and FLA is +1690 at home VS RH. I'm going with the HOME money tonite, as I'm concerned about ASTACIO's durability and I look for a solid game from BURNETT. With two struggling offenses, and no short porch in LEFT, I like this one UNDER also, pending the UMP.

Gotta go with my HOMEY HALOS here... look for Schoenweis to frustrate TORONTO into hitting lots of groundballs and the ANGELS to continue their good play... I like the ANGELS to win a low scoring one here, but will only play the side with the wind blowing out to left at 10 mph, and no ump information...

Actually, not quite that much... had JACK's luck late. Played a parlay on OAK/ANA and OAK -1.5/ANA/SEA -1.5 round robin which turned out ok, but should have been BRASS! Problem was, I didn't FINALIZE my straight bets with VIP SPORTS, and lost out on TWO winners in OAK and ANAHEIM! TOUTED them... in my thread and JT's! BUT didn't end up having em straight, and then SEATTLE died on me in the ninth or I get it back.. still a plus day, but I screwed up trying to do too much five minutes before game time. Getting lineups and HP UMPS is a pain the first game at times... it pained me!

BUT a winna is a winna, and I got some chicken dinna,

HEY TIGER.. I also gave the HEADS UP on MINNY UNDER (which I thought I had posted in my thread, but didn't) and ATLANTA UNDER in other threads, so technically, I could be listed at 11-5 and +6 UNITS~

BTW, LA/PHIL SERIES is now NINE STRAIGHT WINS by HOME TEAM.... hmmmm

BOSTON gets rest after EAST-WEST-EAST road trip. May be all they needed to beat up on O's! PLUS, they had to love watching the YANKS get pounded by A's last nite while sitting in their hot tubs at the hotel!

STL struggles on road vs LH and PIAZZA has to be wanting to BEAT STL by himself after big nite last nite went to waste late... they said we'd be spoilers, we shall see!
