a great nite goin 3 - 0 = +5.00 units with the insanely high chalk in anaheim -310...

you'll NEVER see me do that again...but like i said, all the stats pointed to an anaheim win.
sturtze winning three in a row...??? please.

(remember what i said, if tanyon sturtze gets traded from TB, watch him become a cy young winner....i have a knack for these things...i said the same thing about paul byrd, brett tomko, kris benson, steve parris, jon lieber, and my all time fave, andy ashby...)

what happened to that young pitching rotation of the PADRES i was supposed to see this year????
B Lawrence, B Tollberg, A Eaton,K Jarvis....???
oh well, maybe next year...i had such high hopes for them...AGAIN.

a closet PADRES fan? you bet.

plays to come later.

Hey T-V,

What do you think of the Early Game?

Cubs and Cards and the total is 8.5

Wind is 7 Mph blowing in, not much factor I think!!

The over might be the way to go since Wright is pitching for Cards and Zambrano has gotten beaten up lately for the Cubs!!

Your input would be great

Thanks

1) let's do it again....

NY / toronto Over +10.5 -110 ( two units)

Weaver ain't good for nothing...he should give up 5 and walker should give up 4 and that gives us.....oh wait.......
but hey, factor in the toronto bullpen....i hear heridia won't pitch today cause he was arrested for beating his wife.....as she was caught saying, "Pitch, better have my money!!!!"

wow, somebody asking me for advice...?????
i'm floored!!!!

Jamaica1997, thanks for asking...let's deconstruct this bee-atch!!!

good thing this game's in an hour:

ST LOUIS AT CHICAGO (N)
St Louis: J Wright -120
Chicago (N): C Zambrano +105

i'm looking at the -120 and i like it already....especially against the CUBBIES...
but the TOTAL is at 8 -125, wow, i wouldn't pay that much for a total....

st.loo good in day games, 25 - 22
cubbies, not so great, 31 - 42

the ONLY wierd stat i see here is that zambrano has a good era at home : 3.92 era over / under at home is 1 - 4.

wright on the road has an era of 5.21 but his over under is 3 - 6...
so, i can understand why the total is around 8...BUT wright HAS pitched well in his last 3 with an ERA of under 3.00

personally, i think it's too much to pay for this total, and with the contradicting UNDER numbers, i'd pass.

better games out there to cap.

looking further:

zambrano during the day has an ERA of 4.26 and is 0-3..apparently he doesn't like to wake up early and pitch day games...

wright during the day 1 -7 with an ERA of about 5.69.

IF you had to place a bet on this game and you REALLY had to AND you wanted to pay the higher juice at -125 for a total of 8, then the over would be a good shot.

good luck in whatever your choose.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
goin' good TV!!

goin' good TV!!

I noticed that this is the third time these pitchers in Toronto have gone against each other--and all three times after a bit of an embarassing NYY loss. Yanks make up for it in the next game, and those first two went way over!

good luck!

4) Kansas City: P Byrd +1.5 -110 ( one unit)
5) Kansas City: P Byrd +200 ( one unit)

i feel that for a team with seattle's talent, they have a pretty SHIT record at home...this coupled with the oakland sweep and seattle fading lately should make for a live dawg here with their ACE on the mound.

let's go K.C???
;)

Wow, didn't know there were still Padres fans left.. :D
about that Padres rotation...
Keep an eye out on Jake Peavy, he will be a good one in the years to come, and they are talking about making Kevin Walker a starter next year. He is another one to keep a close look at next year. I also like Oliver Perez who was looking really good until he got injured diving head first into first base. That gives the Pads 7 potential starters next year, but the bullpen is what really worries me.

Ms are reeling, good shot at 2/1 and I took Byrd earlier today also... Garcia no monster anymore, City has Bumbershoot going on and I detect morose attitudes now that As & Halos are on fire ... Seattle is front-running town, will quit on Ms and new stadium before too long, just like they did Seahawks, Sonix, and Ms for 20 years--when they win here, every donut comes out of his hole and waves his #1 finger, its pathetic
