I have always believed that Friday was a good day for home teams. If any day of the week, Friday's are more likely to be sold out, and there is more of an "advantage" in my opinion. Also, there are fewer NBA games on Sat/Sun, so these guys have a weekend to look forward to just like us.
And the numbers...
I tracked all home teams, but after a few weeks realized Home Favorites are nothing special, breaking right about even. Home Dogs however had some decent numbers, so I decided to keep a tab.
Friday Home Dogs ATS (+8.0 or less) - 29-13 (69.05%) +14.7 units
Friday Home Dogs ATS (+8.5 or more) - 1-3 (25.00%)
*There is a reason the road team is favored by this much*
FADE System and play on Road FAV - 3-1 (75.00%) +1.9 units
As far as straight up winners are concerned, I saw good numbers on lines of +5 or less.
Friday Home Dogs SU (+5.0 or less) - 19-13 (59.34%)
Average line of these games +3.0 (at least +130 on the ML)
So at 19-13, you are about +11.7 units
That's an easy 28.3 units to your bankroll. Just some food for thought.
