Let me be the first too wish you much success this season with your NCAA College Basketball selections B&1!!! :0074 Butting heads on your first selection however.....I'm on the Force ML(+145). :shrug:
Houston -4.5 over Tex St. ****
Coogs are stronger,quicker, and can score.Thomas is a double-d player and with House they have a much better front line..decent gds and better scorers over all...Bobcats have Wright who is also a double-d player but gets into foul trouble...also a head case but maybe new coach,new year,etc helps him. But Tex loses 6'8 Staff who posted up and moved outside..teams couldn't double team Wright..this year they can because Bobcats front line is weak..Bobcats have new coach so that has to help them play some defense...Coogs win by double digits..
BC +3 over Providence ***
Hanlon and Anderson are one of the best gd/fd combo's in the ACC...Anderson can play c/f,shoot the ball and drive.But the 6'8 ND transfer Dragievich could be an impact player this yr. He can bang them from the 3...Prov has Cotton the leading scorer in the BE back..Batts at 6'10 and Henton are solid...but I think Eagles win this out right in this close series...BC won at home lyr by 3 and Prov won by 2 a few yrs ago...
Buffalo +6 over Texas AM ***
Bobby Hurley new coach...dad has been at practices or has broken down this team...McCrea is the best player out there ..they are going to play uptempo and Regan inside gives the Buffs and advantage...AM loses its all everything in Turner..will take awhile to adjust.
UCLA -7 over Drexal ***
Drew and Mohammid gone..Alford will bring some defense back to Bruins.Drex talented with Lee,Mass and a few others...but UCLA has Adams and Ware and Parker inside...to much for Drex to handle for 40 minutes...
Cuse -25 over Cornell *
These guys have been playing each for years...Cuse has all new players except for a few..One named Fair who could be one the best players in the new ACC...Boe just reloads with some blue chip players..Big Red won 13 games and lost all its starters...Boe could take it easy but thinks he wants everyone to see his new players..
Smoo -9 over TCU *
Brown loaded with talent..Frazier is the super frosh..they return a lot and have mucho talent coming in...might not have enough balls to go around..TCU was worst in B-12 in almost everything...
Watched the Army-AF game..thought with no one returning from AF the Nites could win this..but they still looked bad..didn't realize game started at 1.00 pm est..but I'm in Texas so its 12.00[noon]..despite Army losing Ella Ellis thought they had enough to best AF...I knew Ella was their best scorer and defender but their front court will miss him big time..
Double 2-nice ML win with the Flyboys..
Best of luck to everyone...never play a 4* game on day 1...hard to judge so early in the season esp with new coaches,new styles,freshman and more importantly juco plarers..but think Houston-Tex St line is off by 5 or 6 pts..

What's your take on my Friars today? BC has 2 futu pros so a little worried with Dunn probably out and Cotton still banged up?
Also really like St John's tonight and know u really follow those NY teams and wanted your take.

Jinx...like BC because it has more talent then Prov overall...Dunn is hurting...Cotton is playing though...I love Cooley as a coach.He was great at Fairfield and is a tough coach..I know they just suspended two freshman...breaking down this game....I take points away from some teams that lose their "rock star".Council was a big time player for the Friars..wanted the ball all the time but a solid pt gd...think with him gone that will effect them early on...but Anderson is a stud for BC...they say he worked on his jump shot this year..if that's the case look out...
