Pacers @ New Orleans

The Hornets are a decent home team and this line is pretty close but I think the Pacers can win this game. If you look at this game from a stat perspective the game should be very close. The Hornets won the first meeting in a very close game at Indy but the difference is that Chris Paul was healthy. West could provide problems in the post and taking Murphy off the dribble but look for Granger to D up on him maybe from the start and thus eliminating the real big threat from the bugs.

The Hornets have been burning bankrolls at home latley. The Hornets are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite. They are also miserable as favorites: 9-24 ATS in their last 33 games as a favorite. FInally they play down to the opposition as the struggle against teams with losing records. The Hornets are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The underdog plays well in this series and I am backing the Pacers here.

okay the card is looking so-so at this point but the early halftime cashed early but I wanted to get in some writeups for my last two picks.

Bos/Por Over

The Celtics are in back to back games or I would take them again but I do look for a high scoring game. With little rest the Celtics defense will be tired. The Blazers messed up by testing Roy against the Clippers and will be without him for awhile ut they will bring Camby and his rebounding. ?I?m going to bring my hard hat every night,? Camby promises.

That equals more second shots and they have had plenty of rest. The Blazers run more at home and as I said last night the C's are happy to still be together.

I take pride in putting out a four unit and I always want to go undefeated. I hit the Celtics yesterday and I am back with a four unit tonight on the Warriors and even took them on the money line at +170 and here is why....


Utah @ Golden St

The Jazz are one of the hottest teams in the league and I think they can fight with Denver and LA for a shot at the West title. I can still can't overlook the fact they are just 12-12 on the road and that is after they won the last two games they played.

this is a four game road trip and with Portland next there is a good chance the Jazz will be sleep walking through this game. They have to play a up tempo Warriors team as they hit their third game in four nights. The Warriors have a night off and play well against the Jazz winning two of the last three outright.

The Warriors are such a bad team it may lead one to think they are bad against the number, but guess again. The Warriors are 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 42-16-2 ATS in their last 60 games as a home underdog. Those are some pretty sick numbers. For some reason Friday night brings out the best in home underdogs (Tonight, sixers, cats, Washington, etc) and it will strike one last time before the night is over with.
