This is all I've got for today. No plays for me.
I'll update Thursday's losses for my Saturday post, as I've still got pending plays.
Saturday looks much better than this board; even without seeing the lines yet.
What can I say about Thursday? Man, it was painful. I followed the games all the way through, right from noon until our current 11 pm eastern, so I suffered quite a bit. I figure that there was about a 10% chance that I lose both the Mets and Tigers, but it happened; errors were the undoing for both games, though I had expected more production from the Mets and Tigers before the wheels eventually fell off. At least I hit the Bosox, the Astros, the Dodgers (was 5-0 when I typed this?now 5-3 before I even submit) and the Giants; kept me from giving back most of what I had made the previous 3 days, which were sweet. I guess I can't forget about those, but the past 24 hours have seen my mood go from utter elation to complete disgust. I understand clearly what they mean by the "agony" of defeat.
Need a break.
I'll look to rebound on Saturday.
