Friday, May 24th - Sacramento Kings vs. LA Lakers
The Sacramento Kings head into LA tonight with the monkey on their backs, well...gorilla on their backs as Sacro has lost 16 of their last 17 post-season meetings in LA straight up, and the last four meetings overall. However, it could be time for the Lakers' luck to run out tonight against the Kings, as LA is a horrid 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home contests. As well, the Kings have won their last 4 road games and cashed in their last 3 away from Arco Arena. Sacramento is also an impressive 6-2 ATS over its last eight overall, and the Kings have won three of the last four Game 3's they've played SU, dating back to last year's playoffs.
Despite the Laker's outstanding 8-2 SU record over their last 10 matchups, the team is a horrid 2-8 ATS over these past 10 games. I look for this trend to continue tonight! This should be a rough inside game as Divac and Shaq again clash, in one that will come down to the wire. If the King's don't shake that gorilla off their backs tonight with a SU win in LA, they should atleast put a smile on the King's backer's faces as they will build their bankroll by investing in their team plus the points!
