--ump in pitt@Mil (Iassogna) a slight under-ump--too bad, I think this game could go over (system calls for over 8.5 at 64%, but that's without taking into account a slight under-lean due to Iassogna)

--ump in mets@Ariz (Foster) is a decent under-ump; good stuff--Maine can hardly be hit (& D'Backs bats are no big threat) and we all know what the Unit might be capable of--still...Mets crushing lefties this year

--ump in phil@Sf (Cederstrom) is a very good over-ump; makes an over here very playable with Giants OPS .822 vs lefties; Phil can flat out hit, too, and Morris, despite the low ERA (3.34) has given up 36 hits in 32.1 IP; Moyer possible dominance is only concern here, but like I said...SF .822 OPS vs lefties (is quite high)

Super-Undie Hirschbeck must be hurt or something--his crew's been working (w/Welke etc) but he's not been in there
