Tonight I see some favorites that don't deserve to be as big of a favorite as they are. The Yankees and Twins have not been playing very well. Minnesota has struggled to score runs recently. I give both Anaheim and KC a good chance to win their games tonight. Toronto is a play against Mercedes and the pathetic O's offense. I look for Boston to get the job done against Helling and the Rangers tonight. It should be tough for Texas to adjust from Mussina one night to a knuckler the next night.
Toronto -1.5 (+150)
Boston -1.5 (+150)
Anaheim -1.5 (+230)
KC -1.5 (+245)
Armas has been struggling badly, the Astros have been hitting righties very well lately (with the exception of last night). Reynolds has lost 4-5 MPH off of his fastball and is not locating pitches as well as he usually does. Expos hit righties better than lefties as well. With this game being played at Enron, I see it going over the total.
Montreal/Houston over 10.5 (-105)
This is one of those totals that could not be set low enough. Johnson has been unreal lately and the Mets bats have been silent for most of this season. Arizona can't hit anything recently and Al Leiter has been on his game. I will play the under, even at this low of a total.
NY Mets/Arizona under 7 (-105)
Input is always appreciated if I have overlooked something. GL tonight!
