niagara (+105) over manhattan
=========================================
with superbook, box, and some others doing a great job capping this maac conference, i think we all have a pretty good idea of what these two teams are about. jaspers the class of this conference but niagara more than capable of winning it this year. im playing niagara small for a few reasons. i caught a handful of manhattan games last year and have seen 2 or 3 this year. to me, ive noticed a change in their game. it really seems --and maybe its just me-- but it seems theyve become to 'flores-dependent' and when hes not hitting, they go into some scoring droughts. now when hes on, manhattan is as good as any midmajor in the country. but it seems like theyre almost deferring to him too much this year :shrug: . it definitely happened in the game against penn a week ago. it was 4 guys standing on the perimeter waiting for flores to create. also like the fact that niagara hits the boards harder than manhattan. jaspers need holmes to gobble up a lot of boards. niagara has some nice interior guys. both teams are outstanding at the line; no surprise, since thats a necessary trait of conference leaders. looking forward to box, superbook, et al weighing in on this one. i think niagara should be able to get the win here. jaspers will have the best player on the court by far, but like what niagara is doing this year.
