Both teams will put up points and lots of them. But that's overstating the obvious.
The triple option is very tough to game plan for in a week's time. Last year's game showed just that. The Midshipmen ran around, through, and over the Cardinals but still couldn't come up with the win.
Ball State brings a more balanced offense with lots of different weapons. Navy's secondary got sliced and diced last week by the offensive juggernaut...Towson. Nate Davis can make all of the throws. Dante Love can catch all of them. Bad news for Navy.
Ball State will make Navy's secondary the prom queen of the cell block. And Navy's rushing attack will abuse the Cardinals front 7.
This should be an entertaining game with lots of big plays from both teams. The rising o/u line makes it a bit scary even though it will be a shootout.
There definitely won't be a lot of defense played in this one but the home crowd will lead Ball State to make just enough stops to take care of business and cover.
