everything screams to play northern ill and the over. the argument being made for bowling green is that they have such a good defense. well, looking at their opponents belies that. here's the national ranking (in scoring offense) for all 11 (i'm not counting murray state) of the falcons' opponents:

that has to be about the absolute worst collection of offenses you can face in a season. I will say that raises a lot of doubt about how good this defense really is. the only offense in the top 40 was Indiana, and the hoosiers put up 42 on the falcons. speaking of the hoosiers' game, the falcons only scored 10 points against the 10th worst defense in the country.
oh, statistically speaking, the falcons pass defense is where they really excel. well, they're going to need to slow down the ground game if they have any chance in this game. and their run defense is really only average.
another note - if you are a fan of conspiracies, then you HAVE to hammer northern ill on the money line. no way the conference will "let" them lose, right? way too much bcs money at stake.
