Thought this number would be a lot higher...ASU is 9-0 because they have 2 outstanding gds in Evans and Holder..Holder can do everything and think Johnnies don't have the defense to stop him,either penetrating,passing or shooting..ASU was always last in the Pac-10 in rebouning...but the addition of White and Lake ended that..they have 2 other gds that are tough off the bench...they avg 90 pts a game which I think is 4th in the nation...Hurley is one of the best coaches around and every one knew once he is there for a few years Zona St will be a power house..it amazes me more that his father who coached at St Anthony in NJ knows 10 times more then his son..and he never wanted to coach in college...heard his father talk about 5 times at basketball clinics and he always took his sons who were 5 or 6 years old to the clinics playing i the backround...thats how old I am..damn..
Johnnies have some talent..Ponds is a big time stud...love this kid..he can pass,rebound and score...Lovette who avgs 15 pts a game can score..his status is ??? tonite..but it doesn't matter...he never passes the ball to anyone ever...Ahmed and Simon are good gds..inside the Johnnies are weak..in fact their 2 gds Ponds and Simon lead in rebounding...they are playing prety defense but they only played a few teams that were decent..Org st,Neb and CFlor...the rest were all cupcakes....Mullin has done better as a coach but he is always slow in making adjustments... Ponds make them himself...
Game is at the Staple Center in LA...think Sun Devils win this by 8-10 pts...

Oregon -15 over CSU *
CSU can't score or play defense...Ducks aren't as good as in the past but think they win big after there loss to Boise..not sure if anyone saw it..half court buzzer beater by Boise...tough way to lose your home streak record..Ducks lost to OU by
10 and then let Uconn beat them..CSU got a whip lash thrashing from Arkansas 97-66...defense is pretty bad.. Tulane and FSU scored a lot of points.. Ducks have the capability to score if they bring their A game..

not sure f anyone saw the Hofstra-Monmouth ending...I had Hof at +4 or +4.5 over Monmouth...think Monmouth up 2 with Hof shooting 1 FT with 3 seconds on the clock..Hof shoots and misses,miss shot on purpose then a Hof player hits it up in the air backwards..its caught by a Hof player behind the 3 pt line...He hits it at the buzzer and hof wins by 1.. JM coach of Hofstra says we always practice that play..and it has never worked...but did the other nite..GL to everyone tonite

Glad to see you on my Sun Devils Box. I'm flying out in the morning to Kansas City for the game in Lawrence on Sunday, The Phog has always been a bucket list and a no-brainer when the schedule was released. Amazing what having two guys that can rebound will do for allowing your guards to play on the perimeter and not need to crash the boards. ASU will get 6'7" Ohio State transfer Mickey Mitchell for the game Sunday in Lawrence as an FYI, should help with some more frontcourt depth.

A buddy of mine says the Mitchell kid is a great passer besides a scorer...Hurley last yr played 4 gds but it cost him on defense..now he has some inside players...think this team is going to make some big noise..didn't realize they play KU...you should have a great time in Lawrence...depending on what happens tonite adding Mitchell..wow..would love to see that line esp after what happened to KU the other day..have fun.. I'm leaving Thur for New Orleans to see North Texas-Troy in the New Orleans Bowl...got a $77 roundtrip ticket on Frontier airlines from Austin-New Orleans...my buddies from Denton and Dallas have a ticket for me...$35 ticket...but I'm spending $77 on the flight,$30 for the cab to downtown and $85 a night for 3 nites and another $30 for the cab back...all for a free ticket to the game...that's why I got a D in math at North Texas..

bucknutt....I never know when I cap games where the money is going..I never want that to influence me when I;m capping it..it does influence after I see it...and have changed sometimes...I hate it because sometimes I actually think I'm smart and then realize the whole world is on the same game..

Like the Frogs here...Dixon has a nice team that can score ,play defense and shares the ball.. Banes is a solid gd..Williams is tough..they have the 6'11 Vlad in the middle and Miller is good..but Fisher is there best player and back from being out a few games..he can pass.he has 55 assists already and missed a fw games..in fact they have 4 players with over 20 assists...they avg over 87 pts a game..Nev has a solis team.. the Martin brothers can both score...just think TCU has the better athletes and overall a better team..game starts in about 20 minutes..
