Arizona (Anderson) @ Philadelphia (O'Daal)
Going with the home team here against the shell shocked D-Backs who are coming off of their biggest upset loss of the year!
Anderson is 3-8 on the year with an ERA of 5.03, in his last 3 starts he has failed to get a decision, he is 2-4 in 8 starts on the road with an ERA of 3.23, Anderson is 1-5 when he pitches at night and he is 0-1 against the Phillies with an ERA of 8.76. O'Daal has been in a slump lately but it has really been more from no run support than any thing else. He won his last start, he is 11-4 on the year with an ERA of 4.59, he is 8-2 under the lights and 6-3 at home and the Phillies won his only start against the D-Backs.
Arizona is 14-16 as a road dog, 3-7 as a road dog of +125 or less, 2-1 on the turf, 53-36 at night, 36-24 on the road and 36-24 vs. lefties batting .276 as a team in their last 10 games. The Phillies are 25-14 as a home favorite, 23-11 as a home favorite of -150 or less, 40-30 on the turf, 38-23 at home, 45-35 when the sun goes down and 13-13 against lefties batting .270 as a team against them in their last 10 games.
The D-Backs are coming off of a series with the Pirates where their two best pitchers got beat and must be in shock after they lost with the big unit on the mound. While the Phillies are coming off of a series where they played a very good Astros team real tough the last 2 games and I think they built up some confidence in that series. Philadelphia took two of three from the D-Backs in Arizona and I think they have a very good chance of getting the sweep here.
