I wasn't going to bet in October as I've got a lot of stuff on my plate to deal with, but I just can't stay away from the baseball playoffs.
White Sox +157 Other posters have already echoed my feelings on this game, but in summary, I like the Southsiders for two main reasons: Garcia and Wakefield. Garcia has historically been strong in day games and is a road warrior. He's also looked very good in his last two outings (albeit against Detroit and Minnesota).
As far as Wakefield, both BDB and IO have made good points in terms of the movement of the knuckler in the weather, and also IO's point of Wakefield's style being rather susceptible to Chicago's small-ball attack.
Also like NYY -1.5 -125 More of a gut feeling on this one. Randy should show up to play and get the job done on the hill, and I just have a feeling the Yankees are going to tee off on Byrd. That right-field porch will prove to be a boon to the Yankees today. Wouldn't be surprised to see both Giambi and Matsui go yard today.
