Georgetown -14 over the Citadel *****
Both Bulldog teams lyr were the worst ats teams.Cit was 6-22 SU and 5-15 ats.Hoyas were 13-15 but an amazing 5-18 ats.And a 2-9 ats at home.
So thats 10-33 ats combined.So the question is why would you give 14 pts to anybody.
Citadel is hurting even worse then lyr.They play 3 or four freshman.Just beat a D-2 team and just got by Army 69-62.The week before Citadel scrimmaged Augustana and lost by 7.They can't shoot.Have no size unless Miller comes in and he is slow.They play zone defense and do that pretty well.But they will be out matched tonite.
Hoyas got beat by 20 to Temples zone.They had trouble shooting the ball.But their size outrebounded them.Front line of Bowman 6'8 who can shoot the 3,7'2 Hibbert and 6'8 Green will kill the Dogs inside.Cook the gd can shoot and Ross,Wallace,Owens,etc are athletic.
But Bowman is there best player.
Thompson III is running his Princeton offense so it may take time to adjust.But Hoyas are in a different class then the Citadel.Much quicker,more athletic,size,etc.etc. Zone will slow Hoyas down a little but not enough.
Hoyas record lyr was pretty bad.Esp ats vs BE teams.But when they play weaker teams like Grambling,Coastal,and Norfork St's they win by 50,15,and 23.
Hoyas win this by 20.
Lyr they played the Citadel away and won 85-62.And if the Citadel had to struggle to beat Army..lordie,lordie..Same score and the Hoyas are home.
Washington -1.5 over Oklahoma **
Should be a great game.But I like the Huskies.OU pressure D will have a hard time slowing down Conley and Robinson.Wash is one talented team.Up front,down low,outside.
And if any one saw Robinson last nite.Wow.If he played in the East Coast and people got to see him he would be 1st team All Amer.He's a pt gd,shooting gd,can play foward at 5'9.Jumping abilty,speed,etc.[Pt gd...damn he can play}
Cal Northridge -6 over Tenn St **
Cal lost to Vandy and OU.But this team ended up lyr beating Utah St in tourney and one shot of making it to the NCAA's losing to Pacific.They shoot FT's very well.Tenn St played WKU tough but don't think they hang around.
Boston Col -11 over Clemson *
BC frontline of Doorekamp,Dudley and Smith.Clemson on the road doesn't play well.First time in Mass..
Michigan pk over Prov **
Mich is more athletic.Think they attack the 2-3 inside then kick it out.
