Record: What Record?..."SurvIvIng"
habs@SENS under 5.5 -115
...Sens return home after close 3-2 victory @Sabres yesterday; Habs may do an out-shoot performance as a result--think that's a benefit to the under, somewhat neutralizing the more potent offense and the home crowd; Theordore (if he goes) has been much better of late; except for a few games w/hi-scoring explosions by the Habs, their offense hasn't impressed me much, and Sens seemed rather focussed lately

...neither team has played great defense this season; both teams capable of putting the biscuit in the basket; both teams well rested (and hopefully not BlOateD); major carpe diem is Presence (Achilles Last Stand) of 2 stellar goalies, in Brodeur and Kolzig--the latter recently returning from an injury, and potentially (too early to tell) revitalizing the Caps game; 5 goals is very reasonable for this match-up...probably for any Caps match-up, and Devils haven't been playing the same D as times past...'course, they haven't been scoring too much this season either (carpe diem minor)

Bruins@Lighting under 5.5 -105
...Bruins not baggin' it like earlier this year...Samsonov injury doesn't hurt...other may be playing through injuries...B's not the same on road...B's currently need to tighten up defensively to compensate; TBay drops off a lot beyond Lecavalier despite the early season scoring surge that this club displayed; 2 words...Nikolai Khabibulain (sic?)...dude has been stellar...should start as TBay had Saturday off, remaining at home to play the Rangers on Sunday

...Born and Raised (and Returned) Torontonian spent 10+ years living in Calgary ('84-'95ish...HEY!...a cUp!), and I must say that Leafs are basically the Home team when they play there; Leafs historically kick arse there (numbers?...what numbers...); Flames pseudo-healthy right now, while Leafs fully stocked save long-time-losses Roberts and Corson; I'm guessing the Eagle tonight with Kidder getting the Edmonton net-minding duties tomorrow; I'm generally hesitant to pull the trigger on my own teams--

...if DaFoe is feeling better, he will start tomorrow (I expectation), at home, vs former team Bruins; Heatly out forces me to dismiss Thrash as relatively long-shots to score (much); 'Canes 7-4-4-2 at home (thru Tuesday) and gotta see this as chance to bag a goose ('o points); again--Thrash home to Bruins tomorrow...(look-ahead...distractions, distractions...)...'Canes travel to play Isles Sat night...they know this game the easier goose; see Leafs scrawlings above (so below)
