As always, I will preface this pick by saying I dont play a ton of baseball and rarely post my plays in MLB.
The only pick I have posted here in the last month and a half or so was the Twins with Garza a couple weeks ago when they beat Baltimore as a dog, 4-1. Why is that relevant?
Twins -104 (Det.), 104/100. Twins -1 (Det.), +144, 50/72.
----- The Twins have lost 3 of the 4 games that Garza has started, which I suppose should make me lucky for getting in on the other win. However, this kid has AMAZING stuff. His stats dont show it yet, and he has gotten shelled a couple times, but I think this is another great spot for him. The Twins are essentially a pick 'em, and against Ledezma and a Tigers team that has been struggling mightily, I think this is GREAT value.
The bargain is had from Garza's lack of experiance, but I think he shows up tonight, and the Twins even up the series.
