The way this goat sees it.

1/1.35 (oly) Eng to Advance(+135)
2.74/2 (pin) Eng(+0.5) -137
1.5/1.65 (pin) OVER 2.5(+110)
1/6.5 (int) Eng to score 3+ (+650)
1/5 (int) Owen 1st goal(+500)
...Just think this could be the game where Brazil's defensive shortcomings show up. Their fullbacks love to charge upfield, and they've shown lapses in discipline on their formations. Speedy Michael Owen (sounds like he'll be healthy) should be drooling to get a shot at this lax Brazilian defense. I don't think England would be smart to play for a low-scoring game. Brazil will score (imho), but England will score as well if they are aggressive, or at least opportunistic.
Brazil has been aided by some poor calls vs Turkey and vs Belgium. And Costa Rica was close to scoring 3-4 goals vs Brazil. Just think this game could be the one where the levee breaks.

2/10 (Carib) USA(-0.5) +500
2/2.8 (Pin) USA(+0.5) +140
1/13 (can) Landon Donovan 1st goal(+1300)
...Basis for play here is feeling that Germany is a hair overrated. They've allowed only one goal in four World Cup games. Have done it vs less than dominant competition (Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Cameroon, Paraguay). It's my understanding that this Germany team is not on par w/ old World Championship German clubs. Their national fans were not confident of German success before the tournament. All 11 of Germany's starters play in the German league, which is unusual for them (nobody playing in the leagues w/ reputations which are maybe a little higher). The 8-0 tally vs Saudi Arabia was an eye-popper (maybe a cause for overreaction). Klose has been a revelation; nobody knew him before the World Cup (but 3 of his 5 goals came vs patsy Saudi Arabia, who wound up w/ a 0/12 goal differential).
Donovan is a hot commodity. A push call away from scoring in each of the US's first four gms.

GL. Enjoy the gms.

Iam gonna something real stupid...but kinda makes sense...Iam gonna lay a unit on Brazil +110 and a unit on England +215...I figure the only way I can lose is if they draw at the end of 90 minutes....worth the risk if you ask me...if either one of them wins...then i dont lose money no matter what...i hope england can win though :)

Adding:
1.67/1 (int) Germ 1st corner kick(-167)
...Germans have surrendered only 8 corners in 4 gms. Americans' counterattack game hasn't led to a ton of corners.

1/4.75 (oly) Germ/US under 2.5 yellow cards(+475)
...Playing a hunch here. The knockout round has produced 3 gms where the yellow count goes 2 or less. Not surprising imo, as teams exercise caution knowing that someone picking up a 2nd yellow can be disastrous. US have 5 yellows carrying over from last gm; Germany has 3. I think the boys will be extra cautious to avoid the dangerous tackles. JMO.

GL, boys.

Didn't feel like a profitable gm, as England fizzled. But no complaints. 11-on-10, England still looked weak. Brazil was the right side. Owen 1st goal prop salvaged the gm for me. +1.91 units for the gm.

Adding:
3/2.4 USA/Germ UND 2.5(-125)
...Riding the opinion of a few cappers in here. I like the under trend in the round of 16. Brazil is maybe the one team where I look the other way.

GL. Go, USA!
