SEATTLE (Woods) +155 over BOSTON (Schilling)
The Red Sox rebounded a bit by taking 2 out of 3
at Anaheim this week, but they are far from being
back into serious contention and look especially
vulnerable in this one. The Mariners dealt Jamie
Moyer and have moved lefty Jake Woods out of
the bullpen and into the starting rotation. He did
well in his first start, allowing just one run in 5 2/3
innings, and we like his chances against a Boston
team that can't hit lefties (only 8-14, -$1055 on
the road) and has been without the services on an
injured Manny Ramirez for the past several days.
Seattle is 18-12 (+$480) vs. righties in night games
at Safeco, so take the fat price against Curt Schilling,
who has posted an ERA over 4.00 away from Fenway.
