Baylor +12 for Friday
Griffin is very good, still dont know how the big time schools recruiting out of Texas didnt land him. UConn struggled badly with Temple in bad weather but still, it was Temple. Then they blew UVA out of the water. Donald Brown on UConn is for real as well, back to back 200+ yard games on the ground. I dont think UVA is any good at all this year but they still were impressive against them.
Baylor took a opening night loss to Wake Forest where they started Miami transfer Kirby Freeman who threw 2 picks and was then pulled for Griffin. Baylor had 3 lost fumbles and 2 picks in the game while Wake lost 2 fumbles. Since then, Baylor has turned the ball over once, a lost fumble in a 51-7 rout of Northwestern State.
UConn had big time problems with the spread offense last year when they played WVU getting stomped 66-21 but Baylor is definitley no WVU.
I think Baylor can hang, 12 pts is generous and with Griffin who can create for himself, I like the pts. I have been awful though so a fade is also a good play
