why the under?

why the under?

I follow your posts regularly and appreciate your insightful information. I was wondering why you like the under considering the fact that the "over" came in last night inspite of the horrendous shooting by the Nets in the first half. I would expect the first game jitters suffered by the Nets last night would lead one to think the over might be the play and since the Nets have no answer to Shaq or Kobe, I look for a score fest on Friday.
Thanks for all your help during the season.

I was thinking the same way as TK....that the Nets would be over their jitters and it would be a score fest....You must think there will be defensive adjustments - namely that Phil Jackson will attempt (again) to turn it into a half-court game?

to answer your ? on the under- the first game barely hit the # with the nets playing helter scelter ball for 3 quarters, the nets will not come out flat- i have read people saying the lakers can blow out the nets at will-they have not shown that all year and especially in this play-offs. i see a tight game with a game plan very much like the first game-play excellent perimeter d let shaq have his 35 and 15 and concentrate on the others- the lakers and nets play great d- and if the nets can have a few more defensive rebounds- which i think they will i see it staying under. as far as the nets covering this number-the nets have tremendous character- they have been tremendous off a loss and in the first game it was not so much the lakers dominateing than letting up but the nets not coming to play. also the nets have definite advantage at 3 positions - the lakers are the better team but they need to retool there role players in the off-season the lakers win in a close game. 94-92 gl

Great call on the under, Thunder (little poetry there). You hit the nail on the head in your analysis above. Did you see at the end when Kobe hits two long, long 3-pointers??? And then any NJ 3 pointer at the end kills me at 191 1/2!!!! I'm not sure who shot it, but it just hit the front lip and skipped over the hoop! Yikes>>>

Nice call on the under, Thunder... Good luck always..
