UCF (+2) 2 units. i'll start with this - the last time UCF lost consecutive games was 2008. now for the obvious - byu is struggling. it's been a very tough start to their first year as an independent. a 1-point win at ole miss. a 1-point loss at texas. they had nothing left in the tank for that 2nd half against utah. and while i certainly don't think they'll overlook a very solid UCF team, they may be thinking just a little bit about their game NEXT friday, also on espn. that game is against another in-state rival, utah state. just so happens, the aggies beat byu last year, so the cougars may want a little revenge on national tv.
the only factor keeping this from being a bigger play is that it's also a tough spot for UCF. just not nearly as tough as it is for BYU. they're coming off a loss to a sunbelt team, and they're travelling to utah on short rest. i still like the knights to take care of business.
