south florida (-3.5) 4 units. that's right, 4 units. this line makes no sense whatsoever. it's BEGGING for louisville money. bj daniels is doubtful. eveld has completed 53% of his passes for 144 yards, 3 INTs and no TDs. louisville has won 6 of their last 7 games. usf has lost 6 of their last 7 games. if this game was a pick, the action would probably still be one-sided towards louisville. who in their right mind could take usf laying 3.5?
tulsa (+3) 2 units. probably a popular play, but houston has been getting off to some slow starts against inferior teams. another slow start today, and i don't think they catch tulsa. tulsa's running game (they average 5.1 yds/carry) should be the difference.
LSU (-12) 2 units. somebody has to take the tigers. sure, the line drop worries me. but the #1 team in the country opened as a 14-point fav over the #3 team. that says a lot right there, especially with all the love for arkansas. the hogs have been tested once, and they were manhandled by alabama. i think the under is a strong play here, too.
