OAKLAND (Manaea) +105 over COLORADO (Freeland)

The Athletics have won six straight (+$570) and they have

moved to within a game of Seattle for the 2nd AL Wildcard.

They have been phenomenally successful in road games in

2018 (35-21, +$2225), while averaging 6.5 runs per game

as a visitor vs. lefthanders. Sean Manaea has been the ace

of the staff (+$550, 3.38 ERA in 21 starts) and he is facing

a Colorado team that has lost money at Coors Field (-$865

so far). Kyle Freeland has been solid for the Rockies in his

20 outings), but the A's as underdogs look to good to pass

up in tonight's series opener.

Chicago Cubs at St. Louis (3) 27th, 28th, 29th
These teams just wrapped a five game series at Wrigley Field last
Sunday, with the Cardinals currently holding an 7-6 edge in head
to head competition (+$195). Nevertheless, Chicago seems like a
better choice this weekend at Busch Stadium. They have a terrific
rotation and a much better bullpen than St. Louis (3.37 vs. 4.60 for
the Cardinals). In addition, their team BA is tops in the National
League (.267 team BA, averaging over 5.0 runs per game). The
Cardinals have lost a fortune in this ballpark already (-$1140) and
we expect more of the same. BEST BET: Cubs in all games.

Arizona at San Diego (3) 27th, 28th, 29th
The Diamondbacks led the NL East for most of the first half, but
they?ve dropped into 3rd place, so they need to fatten up on the
league?s worst club. San Diego has scored the fewest runs of any
team in the National League (only 3.7 per game, .233 team BA) and
they rank a dismal 12th in team ERA as well (4.36). They are only
6-18 vs. right-handers in night games at Petco Park (-$1220) so take
a shot with veteran Zack Greinke (3.06 ERA in 21 starts), who?s
been flashing spectacular form in his most recent appearances (0.57
ERA last two). BEST BET: Greinke.

Milwaukee at San Francisco (4) 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th
After leading in the NL Central for most of the year, the Brewers
have taken a tumble in recent days (2-8, -$665 last 10) and they
look like a shaky proposition here at ATT Park. The Giants are very
much in contention in the highly competitive NL West, and their
two top starts are back and healthy. Bradley Bumgarner has a 3.19
ERA in his nine starts and Johnny Cueto checks in with a 2.76 ERA
in his eight outings (+$235). Both are expected to take turns this
weekend, and keep in mind how profitable the Giants have been at
home (+$940). BEST BET: Bumgarner san fran 12-4 home at night vs righties:SIB
