<!-- end .byline -->WASHINGTON ? The Obama administration is set to report Friday that the federal budget deficit exceeded $1 trillion for the second straight year, providing critics of government spending with fresh ammunition ahead of the midterm congressional elections.

The Congressional Budget Office is projecting that the deficit for the 2010 budget year that ended Sept. 30 will total $1.29 trillion. That's down by $125 billion from the $1.4 trillion in 2009 - the highest deficit on record--

Takes a lot to dig out of the mess Bush made doesn't it. Dogs, did you think the hole would be this big when you were cheering him on as he was digging it?

You got that--its not my fault down to a science Stevie

GW got out of the dot com--enron-worldcom-911 all in his 1st 2 years with economy intact and--- not once blaming it on his predecessor.

Amazing what a little experience and character can do.

I can't leave this lie stand. President Bush is documented as blaming President Clinton for economic woes every year of his presidency, including November of 2008. I posted most of those incidents with dates.

Do you claim that Bush did not cause this mess? Why did we vote the Republicans out in record numbers? Hint, it wasn't because things were going so good. Sorry but Obama may not be doing everything he says but for you to stand there and blame him for this mess is a real crime. Let us not forget how we got here or we will never get out of this mess.

In the shadows
They are all guilty !

Simple. Everyone keeps pointing fingers at this guy and that guy. It's a waste of time.

Remember, when you point a finger at someone, there are always 3 pointing back.

Time for solutions, stop the arguing and come together.
