ALL of Wednesday's game went UNDER. I said in my Wed re-cap I was going to look for some OVERS last night, and sure enuf, 6 of 10 games had AT LEAST 6 goals scored...
I am looking at some low scores tonight in at least 2 games. MINNY at COLUMBUS and ANA at EDMONTON coul be 1-0 or 1-1 ties. What concerns me is the Detroit game, where both teams are due to break out and score some goals, and a 6-5 score would rip the SALAMI apart. Tonight a Olympic it is Home teams
at [-3.5]...but I am laying off visitors +3.5 thinking Detroit could
score a 7-1 victory.
TONIGHT:
1. DETROIT -.5 over Caps - will Detroit lose 2 in a row this year?? Probably not...
2. DET/WASH Over 5.0 - both teams due for an offensive breakout, and DET could reach this figure without help...
3. FLA +1.5 as a live dog at Dallas - on the theory that Dallas will have a bit of a mental let-down after the big win vs. DET. Nice odds too, for getting 1.5 goals - lists at +100, but has gone to
-120.
4. Edmonton -.5 vs. ANA - Anaheim is struggling now. So is Edmonton, but not as much. ANA had only 16 shots on goal vs. BUFFALO Wednesday.
5. MIN/COL UNDER 4.5 [+120] - two weak offenses and 2 pretty good defenses...[or Under 5 -130]
PROP: Will Detroits Brendan Shanahan get a point vs. Washington?? [must play] - YES - +135 [At Olympic]
Leans: TB +1.5 vs. CHI - CHI is not too good on the road, and TB playing a bit better at home
Columbus [ML] vs. MINNY - probably should be my #2 pick.
