North texas +3 over Miami O***********************************
I'm not capping this game at all . NT won there last game to go 6-6 and become bowl eligible. I have no idea about Miami NT did win there last 5 or 6 games. I am leaving in a hour and driving up to Dallas. I am going out to eat with 5 of my North Texas buddies tonight to the best Italian restaurant in Dallas. The owner was a roommate of one of my best friends who will be there tonight. These 3 guys from Middlesex NJ 2 years before I went to North Texas left Jersey for ever. One of them with his fathers help opened up a Italian restaurant in Dallas. So tonight I will make a judgment if its a really good Tino already told his buddy box is coming tonight. The good news is the head chef is from Italy and I get to talk to him in Italian tonight. The game is at the Frisco Toyota Stadium where UTSA lost to San Diego St. If I see that bastard Sincere at the game I will be very polite and respectful and tell him what I think of him. And I hope the NY Giants draft you because you will be on the waiver wire after about 3 weeks.
I am wearing my Mean green Hoodie and a Mean green hat and going to cheer my ass off as a fan . I did put a few **'s on North Texas. so ignore the above. I am going as a fan not a degenerate gambler .. Thats a little to harsh on myself but close.
I know nothing about Miami except it was the cradle for college coaches of the past. Are they still called the Red Hawks I know there basketball teams but not football . So I am endorsing and taking the Mean green tomorrow afternoon and those raviolis better be good tonight.

I will take Army over Mizzou also ** Both games are " homer" plays .And I swear if I see Sincere McCormick hanging around Frisco stadium tomorrow afternoon I am going to tell him : I am a scout for the NY Giants and we want you as a second or maybe 3rd round pick . "Cannot promise you a 1st round pick because we might get the 1st overall pick in the draft if we continue to to lose" By the way once you sigh your 1st NFL contract you owe some of that loot to me the N Y Giant scout.
good luck to everyone ..have a nice holiday not sure If I'm taking my computer up north.

"These 3 guys from Middlesex NJ 2 years before I went to North Texas left Jersey for ever. One of them, with his fathers help, opened up a Italian restaurant in Dallas."

Back in the day, there was a joint on the corner of Mountain Ave and Lincoln Blvd, Middlesex, NJ, where the dining area was separated from the kitchen by a large glass window so you could watch them make their home-made pasta: mixing the dough, pounding it out, running it through the machines and hanging it to dry. Served a great lasagna. (I think the place was called "Pizza and Pasta"? can't remember, ownership has changed many times over the years.)

Congrats to your buddies for getting out of NJ forever, many people who are fed up with their worst-in-the-nation taxes and cancer rate do. I did myself. (My roots are in Sicily, my grandparents came over from there and I spent much of my life with them in NJ.)

I'm on N Tex, too, the game qualifies as one my Wrong Fav spots, posted it when I bought them last week at +3. Good luck with your plays and have a great time at the game and hooking up with old friends.
Life is good.

In Dallas the Italian restaurant was in southlake Very good.. It was great eating with about 10 people I went to college with. They told some people I'm coming to town so saw some people I haven't seen since 1973 .. they all looked older except me. lol
But the game is why I'm here. NT hasn't won a bowl game in since 2013 and started out the year 1-6. That had some transfers injuries ,suspensions etc and won their last game to break 6-6 and be bowl eligible. I have been to a few bowl games here when Army beat them and then the following year Troy beat them in New Orleans. Vs Troy I made a live wagering play on Troy after just seeing the size of Troy warming up. Troy destroyed North Texas. NT has Torrey who has a 1,200 yds but lost Adaway for the season. They have 2 freshmen that both have over 450 yds in Ragsdale and Adeyi .. Aune their qb who played minor league baseball is about 35 years old.. Maybe not that old but close. NT has sold out its allotted tickets for todays game . I have my pre-season North Texas Hat and my t-shirt with the Texas flag colored in green and white . Think Miami also started out 1-6 and has turned it around. Think North Texas will have a big crowd at the game. MAC schools always scare me but think the Mean Green with its momentum and crowd will beat and cover vs these foreigners from Ohio . I have seen North Texas play 3 times since I retired in Texas I'm 0-3 Army And Troy at bowl games and UTSA in a conference game. This afternoon the streaks ends .. North Texas wins out right
North Texas +2.5 **
Still a small play because I don't know enough about Miami . Go Mean Green

With you on MEAN GREEN

With you on MEAN GREEN

A few thoughts on Miami of Ohio... home of Big Ben :0008

They ended up 6-6 just like NT but did it a bit differently. Mia of O went 5-0 at home, only 1-6 on the road. They got smacked around by Army back in September when ARMY ran for 384 yards and won without completing a single pass in the game. In their last game, against the #4 rushing team in the nation, Kent St, they again gave up over 300 yards and lost 48-47. Teams averaged 31 pts a game vs Mia of O when the RedHawks traveled, and I can certainly see NT doing the same... I love your "homie" play today. Will likely tease it up with the OVER as I can see Mia of O doing some scoring as well. FINAL NT 34 Mia of O 26 :SIB

Lmao!!! I couldn?t agree more .. mean Green is toast for the day? the defense can join the same baseball team

I guess you can hit the QB in the head now as long as he?s already falling to the ground

Terrible play calling.. terrible qb play? running game non existent.. defense is in the clouds looking for butterflies? have qb sacked and go over the top of him.. NTX blew any kind of opportunity not scoring when they gave the a Christmas gift on that catch ? absolute miserable play calling there when it was 2ND and goal from like the 4.. and this team blew out utsa when they were rolling ? HOW!!!

the restaurants name was Calabrese expensive but was very good

was at the game North Texas-Miami and again like Sincere Mcormick of UTSA D'andre Torrey the leading rusher for North Texas didn't play, He had over 1.400 yds and was a no show. You could see North Texas qb was bad and their defense had trouble stopping Miami's offense.. made about 3 in live wagering plays taking Miami -3.5,-5.5 and -13,5 .. beautiful Frisco stadium ...hard to explain to my buddies that I was now cheering against North Texas. Does anyone why D'Andre Torrey didn't play. I'm sure on ESPN they had to mention it We at the game had no idea.. Was it covid? anyway had a great time and tried to explain to my friends what live wagering is and how could I turn against North Texas. Going back to Austin tomorrow morning. So Sincere and now Torrey both MVP's of their teams didn't play in these bowl games Sincere I know opted out . But have no idea why Torrey didn't play today

"Headlines North Texas down 2 starters for todays game" didn't even know about the other starter. Did the announcers mention Torrey was out .He was only 9th in the nation in rushing and I think 5th or 6th in all purpose yards. I'm sure someone had to mention the reason The article only said 2 starters out but not why. I played 3 live wagering plays Thought I won them all but the last one was for Miami -13.5. They only beat North Texas by 13...ouch Can't get a break .. I looked all over for Sincere at the game but couldn't find him. Now I'm looking for Torrey . I hope he had a medical for not playing and didn't opted out for the NFL

Doglover, I'm glad you saw me lol NT had a huge crowd . I realized that all my buddies at the game would not run into one of our teachers or professors because they are all dead ..Of my group of buddies I am the youngest at 70. There is another 70 and 3 are 71,4 are 72 and one at 73. When Tino said " maybe we might run into one of our former teachers it was me that said " Tino they are all dead". Everyone laughed but think everyone realized I was right. The NT qb Aune was so bad. He was so off even in his warm ups. No one in the stadium knew why NT's top rb wasn't playing. At Halftime I had to ask fans whats Torrey's number since we had no programs. Some one he not dressed or on the bench Thats when I made a few live wagering plays on Miami .
I am wondering what the the announcers on ESPN said . even today on the Mean Green forum no one knows why ?
Someone said he wasn't there because he was picking out his tux for the NFL draft. Covid, grades personal reasons ,suspended . Miami had their safeties playing so up in the box giving Aune no respect as a passer. NT's biggest strength was running game Once Miami took that away NT was in trouble. anyway another loss due to star player not playing. My problem was It was in the same stadium just 3 days apart from Sincere not playing for UTSA and now Torrey not playing for NT We know why Sincere didn't play but Torrey is still a mystery. I hope it was grades since my alma mater has such high standards
