Cannot see how you can move a team from third to sixth. Guess TCU should have scored one or more TDs for a 69-3 win.

IMO the took the high road, however without a conference championship that may have been the demise.

I do not believe OSU belongs with that VT loss but that is just me. I always thought Baylor would jump TCU if they beat KSt. Which they did.

Now i would like to see Baylor and TCU play in the a bowl game. That would be interesting.

Whomever made the Big 12 slogan for "one true champion" should be canned. Talk about a PR backfire.

Bottom line is they had a terrible schedule and not having a conference championship really hurt them...Their commissioner should get into the 21st century...They have no one to BLAME but themselves....

Having a terrible schedule is one thing but how do you move from 3 rd to 6th after winning 55-3?

Cant answer that other that Ohio St win WAS so impressive it could not be over looked and to not include Fla St would have caused rioting in the streets so that option was out ....Seems to me a impressive win in the last week over a highly ranked team is the key here...To me that is why they dropped out and if the truth be known they were ranked too hig anyway...Never should have been higher than Fla St..But understand where you are coming from...

Like it's been said, Have a Conference Championship! Add teams to your conference in the future as well so you can divide into 2 divisions and have a championship!!

How is FSU undefeated and not in top 2? That argument can be said too, all they have done is won back 2 back ACC Championships, the Nat'l Championship and were #4 at one time in this committee final 4? It's all propanganda, whoever has the chance to deepen the pockets for the NCAA is the one's who win in this, the teams never do!

It's all a crock of shit!!

I honestly feel like TCU is in the same boat they've been for the last 10 years. Because they aren't a high profile team, they have to go undefeated to even be considered for a major bowl - BCS before and Playoffs now. If Fla St and/or Ohio St lose, then the Big XII looks like a genius for getting 2 teams into the playoffs. Hopefully, TX and OU are better next year, so that if TCU beats them no one will question the strength of the conference. TCU also has Ohio St, Arkansas and Cal coming up on future schedules. That should help.

But, I truly think even with a Conference Championship game, no team from the Big XII gets in. You basically had it on Saturday. Baylor from one division playing K St from the other division with Baylor winning. Final poll results are the same. Baylor's problem is they refuse to add quality OOC games. Briles has convinced the AD that all they have to do is go undefeated with any tomato can teams for OOC games and they are a shoe in for the playoffs. Incarnate Word is on the schedule coming up for them. Who the frak is that?!?!?!

I'm proud of the season the Horned Frogs had by turning around the misfortunes of last year. I'm going to have to watch the Peach Bowl game on my tablet while at work but it should be a great game.

Joe, sucks for you and your team. I really think Ohio State, TCU and Baylor are all interchangeable. They all present problems to teams they'll play and could be ripe to upset who they play. My problem is that people keep saying Ohio State had a better out of conference schedule. Is that good when you take into consideration that they lost to one of those teams and that team is crap? Who cares what teams you schedule if you don't beat them.

Saying that, I don't have a problem with Ohio State getting in. The win over Wisconsin was very impressive and they are playing well when it matters.

There is one good thing about all of this for gamblers. Coaches on good teams will be trying to make statements every week. I think we've seen that all games matter and the margin of victory in those games matter. The Big12 thinks they got screwed as the only P5 conference not to get a team in but what happens when ND sneaks up there and gets in? Then you'll have at least two P5s not getting in. Then there will be a ton of people upset.
