Delta Montreal

can you tell me if this hotel is *actually* downtown? I've had bad experiences with hotels saying they are located downtown when they weren't.

Is it walking distance from Old Montreal, downtown shopping, good restaurants, etc?

I ask about this particular one because a tour company here in Toronto can get me a good rate of like $117 for 2 nights.

Thats a good place in the center of the activity.
You are walking distance from everything and at that price its a VERY VERY good deal.
If i recall i was in that same hotel last december and it was very nice. If i recall they have a nice piano bar and indoor swimming pool.
GOOD SPOT.

I think my friend got some incorrect info on that price quote so we're still looking at other hotels.

Don't think we'll have time to make it over to QC.

Just a trip to get out of Toronto for the long weekend to relax after all the wedding planning, etc.

Before you talk about that Cup, better take care of business tonight and force a game 7 first.

Eastern Canada is going to go crazy if we get a Leafs/Habs series.
