Why is Pinnacle 5-15 cents cheaper than all the other bigger stores with the Cubs? Are they inviting in action on the cubs?

Pinnacle has lowered their line on the Cubs from a high of -179 to -173, but so have most of the other offshore stores. It appears to be public action on Colorado that has brought the line down. It happened too slow to be syndicate action.

Even though Pinnacle is at -173 there is action available at as low as -170 several places so it doesn't show any attempt to accumulate action on the part of Pinnacle.

Right now I would have to consider the FTSM on this game neutral and if anything I think I would play CHC going against the public action . . . and I may do that. I kind of like the Cubbies today for a small wager if the price comes down a little more.

Looks like it could be a high scoring game as well.

Inside,

While the offshores all seem to be dropping their line on the Cubbies, the Nevada books are for the most part keeping it up. Colorado action is still at +170 at the Excalibur.

It would be interesting to see what fletcher did on this game, if anything, but I think he is out of town today.

I just saw that.

Fletcher probably personally kept the lines on the Cubbies high in Vegas.

That's all I needed. I know what I am going to do.

NCU,
If I am interpreting correctly what was keeping you off the Cubs was the money staying high at Vegas ! But, it was dropping offshore so now that you know why it stayed high in Vegas does that mean you jumped on Rockies? Just trying to learn some things from some extremely smart players.
Thanks

No. I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear. As far as the FTSM system it was neutral and no play was ever generated. I liked the Cubs, however, and nothing kept me off of them. I thought it was interesting that the line stayed high in Vegas, but didn't read anything special into it. I just thought it was interesting.

When I found out fletcher also liked the Cubs I bet on the Cubs at -168 offshore. It probably was a game I should have passed on, but I wanted some action on a TV game and was more than anything betting the other side of about a 15 cent line move by public action on the Rockies . . . along with the fact that the "King of Chalk" was on the Cubs as well.

By the way, I was only kidding when I said Fletcher was probably personally keeping the Vegas lines high. I should be more careful in how I word these things.
