Fun and Frustrating...

1.) Go back into the room and turn off the lights. There are several 3 tiles on the back wall. Bring them to the room on the left.
2.) Touch the nearest post on the right and the bridge will open up.
3.) Put the tiles into the 3 slots.
4.) Put the head that's caught in the disk box on the right edge of bridge.
5.) The head should traverse back and forth along the lines of the tiles
6.) Bring the chair closer to the left hand edge of the bridge
7.) Touch the post on the left to close the bridge.
8.) Go thru the door!

Doughboy, I can't figure that out either. I've figured out everything on my own until this point, but I just can't seem to figure out how to use that "strange machine." It keeps saying, "not yet... nice idea though. but the strange machine is not completely ready" 
You have to align the plates so the head can run on the track across the bridge....

look to the right of the "odd structure". there is a grey line or a "track". Move the tiles by clicking on them to connect the "track to the next grey line. Just like you did previously in the other room. once the track is complete and the head can move from one side to the next it will let you "click" on the odd structure.
got it! now i can't get out of the next room. Have the security panel piced together, but nothing else to find.
From the start...
take a log form the unlit fireplace
move 2 rooms
put log in place holder
turn on machine
log will catch fire
pickup log
more back 2 rooms
place burning log into fireplace
take triangle from security panel
move 1 room
click on lamp
move 1 room
place triangle on placeholder
turn off machine
turn on machine
should "break" triangle
re arange triangle in security device.
door opens

I just click until it worked....it turns grey when you get the correct combo. The color wheel is the key. It starts yellow, turns cyan, then purple then grey. I didn't write down the combo.
