Dallas OVER 55.5 wins

Think the NBA would love to see this team make it to the Finals? They've gift-wrapped them a perfect schedule. I've only checked the first 5 teams alphabetically but its clear Dallas is getting some help here. Below are the number of back to backs for each team and the number of layoff games (3 days or rest or more). These can be as negative as a 2nd of a back to back, since NBA players thrive on playing every other day. The number at the right is the total # of affected games (counting both halves of back to backs, since playing time gets altered when a team has a game the following day).

Atlanta 23 back to backs, 6 layoffs (52 total games)
Boston 19 back to backs, 5 layoffs (43 total games)
Chicago 22 back to backs, 4 layoffs (48 total games)
Cleveland 23 back to backs, 8 layoffs (54 total games)
Dallas 16 back to backs, 2 layoffs (34 total games)

Mere coincidence Cleveland's schedule is much more brutal? I doubt it; this whole league is based on marketing, and the uptempo style of the Mavs appeals to most fans. Most people are getting tired of seeing the Lakers win every year so it looks like the league is trying to give Dallas that extra help.
