I'm not a big baseball guy, but I get into it when the playoffs roll around. I watched the A's - Tigers game last night and came to the conslusion that the Tigers will win their series with the A's because the Tigers team has the same type of karma that the Steelers had last season when they won the bowl and the Hurricanes had when they won the Cup last season.
Plus:
The A's can't hit with men in scoring position.
Their bats are no match for the Tigers.
Their pitching and bullpen can't compare to that of the Tigers.
And the Tigers have Jim Leyland in their corner!
Sounds like a recipe for the Tigers to advance to the series to me.
I think I'll start putting some money down on them real soon!
