There are Multiple Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows Components!!! Which means that yah might want to do your WindowsUpdates if yah are a Windoze user. Downloading them automatically is good, if your system is not set up to automatically install them, then that step i.e., installing the updates, MUST be done manually.
And for the Linux afficionadoes, there is a kernel patch 2.6.11xxxxxx which is pre-emptive. Parallelly, there are kernel patches for the Solaris, AIX and HP-UX kernels as well.
