There are 2 things you can take to the bank about Del Mar:
1st Bet anything by Indian Charlie. He loved that track and his offspring do well here.
2nd Bet a horse that has run badly at Hollywood and Santa Anita , they usually run big at this track.
Also the track is not very large and speed does not always hold up. Closers have a very good shot.
Looking out my window, it should be cloudy and sweaty. There will be close to 42,000 Place and Show bettors there today. It's like Churchill Downs on Derby day. No track or speed bias data available.

Del Mar: Sunny - 80'
1st #3 Sigfreto 6/1 OUT @8/1 Nothing
2nd #6 Send Me A Copy 6/1** -SHOW $3.60 @9/2 tired

OK
"Also the track is not very large and speed does not always hold up. Closers have a very good shot."

Not knowing Del Mar, it seems that a smaller track would favor speed, move turns for a given distance. Thanks for you posts. Turk
