ok......well, now you are adding some logic that supports your position. I was having trouble with the statement "the UCLA line tells you the play right away" in a vacuum. Means nothing. Any other reasons why the members of this forum should back a team that is 2-9 at home, has a lame-duck coach, and has already mailed it in?

people are reading way too much into lines.....handicap the game, not the line.....these aren't robots out there playing manipulated by vegas.....

we each have a method to our madness. personally, theres times where you can flat out read a line and cash a ticket. sure not every time, and theres exceptions. this is a game of "percentages". no system or approach is gonna pump out 90% winners. but line reading is just as vital to betting as the actual capping.
