Ok, so I'm trying to figure this team out. Watching this game I can't tell if this is the most unathletic team in the NCAA, or if they're just absolutely terrified of UCONN. The only halfway decent ballhandler they have is Causey, and even he looks like a deer in headlights out there. It got to the point that I expected them to dribble the ball off their foot or travel on just about every possession. Like I said, I can't tell if they're scared or just incredibly clumsy and uncoordinated. :shrug:

No takers? Ok, I'll take a stab at it. I think they're very unathletic, but probably not as bad as they looked today. I think they were absolutely pissing themselves today because they knew UCONN was a much better team and they let the home crowd get to them. The fact that the game was tied with 7:30 to go, but they ended up losing by 12 tells me this loss was more about being scared and not having any composure than any athletic issues.

On an unrelated note, I still think Ga. Tech is getting way too much respect from the linemakers. Only +7' on the road against a very good UCONN team? That seems very low to me. Ga. Tech is the epitome of a mediocre team. When they're playing elite teams on the road I can't see why they wouldn't be DD dogs...
