He closed the first game... They should bring in Okajima... Gagne is a tool and needs to be sent down to the minors...

What the hell is up with Francona?????????

Up 3 in day game and pulls Okajima with 2 outs in the 8th for Papelbon.
Now in night games goes with "Gag"ne in a 1 run game.

One word:FOOL

I mentioned earlier that the Gagne deal will go down as one of the worst in Redsox history. The starter they traded gabbard has been doing quite well. The rumor is the Yanks wanted him so the Sox made a move on him. He really screwed me up tonight and I am having a crappy night so far.

Webb another shutout. WOW

In one word- OVERMANAGING. Its the Tony Larussa way. I often feel is a guy is doing well keep him in there. These managers get so hung up on righty lefty stuff etc that they will force losses or trouble pulling a guy ut. They are overly sensitive to pitch counts and will do the same thing with a starter. Dont any of these guys have endurance?

Boston has a history of making bad trades as we all know! I mean c'mon if he was any good lad & Tex would not have let him get away. Gabbard was pitching very well for Boston, why not try him in the 2nd closer roll, Boston got hosed big time on this trade:mj07:

How can it be the managers fault ,when you bring in a closer with a great rep. that just flat stinks up the joint.

Blame management for the trade, but not the manager for the move!!
