galvalnized steel pot question

Got back from new orleans yesterday and I found my 100 quart galvanized cooking pot.

It had been in the water for three weeks and has some water stains--go figure!!


My question is how do you clean this. Does anyone know if there is something on the market or would I have to 'grind' the stains out.

If I have to 'grind' the stains out, do I have to buy a grinder or drill, and if so what do I attach to it

Lawtchan, you might try soaking it in a water and bleach solution over night or 24 hours, if that does not work you might try sandblasting. Don't think i would grind on it unless it is a last resort.

I think Oxy Clean will do it. That stuff works on everything I have ever tried it on.
