since I watched my first NBA game of the year last night, I thought I would follow up and watch my first hockey game in 2 years tonight. Who should I bet on

I got the Bruins to win the series. Hockey is the best if you have a little coin on it.

Probably shouldn't bet at all.

This is a tough one to cap. If Chicago gets on the board early, which I expect them to do everything in their power to do, then this'll be knotted at 2. Unlikely that that Blackhawks can do any better than the barrage they put on Rask Period 1 game 2 (which you didn't watch). That was 1-0. Sure there was some puck luck as well, but if Rask is on his game, will be tough to sustain that level of offense for that period of time.

If Hossa doesn't play, the series may have already been decided.

I'd ride rask and the hot goalie, but unlike basketball, the refs can only be so involved, IMO.

BOL!

Very true about the refs but Chicago's Power Play is so bad it is almost like the Bruins have the advantage.

Bruins a great home team, Hawks an average road team in the playoffs....more in my thread on why I like the Bruins.

The way the Bruins kill penalties, play defense, and especially the way Rask is playing... I would be hesitant to throw much at the over. I understand the idea, just a thought.

I think reuniting Toews and Kane, along with Hossa back, probably will make for a crazy start, and might shake things up a little. I keep remembering that goal that went in on Rask off the skate - complete fluke - and I'd guess that they'll be throwing everything at the net tonight.

Good luck! Will be tough for me to go against the Bruins right now at home, but the Hawks will be desperate tonight.

I've seen nothing from the Hawks that would make me bet on them. Bruins basically dominated the last game as opposed to only owning the 2nd half of period 2 til the end in games 3.

I watched people throw away money on Pitt the last series, thinking they would do better each game. It just looks to me like the Bruins are a better team with a super hot goalie (Hawks will probably win 6-2  )

Just my observations...and way too late
