IMO - The books could have made Kershaw any number today...My thoughts are Kershaw is pitching the game of his life. It's not game 2. He historically has been less than stellar in the playoffs. Baseball is so different than any other sport in the playoffs in that there is absolutely NOTHING that he can do differently that the Cubs haven't seen...But the CUBS can certainly make adjustments to him. I think Hendricks is extremely undervalued and while the city of Chicago is crazy for the CUBS the bigger $$$ is certainly on the Dodgers and the public is certainly on the Dodgers. Vegas is bathing in Dodger money today. This has to be a play on the Cubs or nothing IMO. Really think about this...If the Cubs get any runs off Kershaw in the first 1-4 innings the game will be over...The Cubs will throw Lester or use the best bullpen in baseball. All "If's" but the Dodgers bullpen is spent and not very good at this point. I expect an early lead for the Cubs and a game 6 win.

The Dodgers went 38-43 (.469) on the road this season.

The Dodgers have trailed 3-2 in a best-of-seven NLCS just
twice since MLB went to the best-of-seven format in 1985:
Dodgers in Best-of-Seven NLCS? trailing 3-2

Year Opponent Series Result
1985 STL 2-3 Lost, 2-4
2013 STL 2-3 Lost, 2-4

Going back to the 1941 World Series, the Dodgers are 0-6
when trailing 3-2 in a seven-game series, but did push the
series to seven games twice: on the road in 1947 vs. NYY and
at home in 1956 vs. NYY. On the flip side, the Cubs are 0-6 in
games where they can clinch a World Series berth since
1969.

A -130 road fav ?

Clayton Kershaw, who picked up the win in NLDS Game 1,
the save in Game 5 and the victory in NLCS Game 2 in Chicago, is set
to make his 18th career postseason appearance (14 starts).

In those contests, the left-hander is 4-6 with a 4.39 ERA (41 ER/84.0 IP)

Once again A -130 road fav ?
