Curious to know what you saw the first half? I was watching part of it and Greensboro was taking them to school. Good luck with your wager.
number of things but mainly that. and I wasnt even watching the game on TV.
UNCGB shot over 60% in the first half, Furman was down towards 30 or even slightly under. Furman is one of the better offensive teams in the conference and are capable inside and out. Greensboro also fouls a TON and in the first half only had 8 I think? Last time these guys played Furman went to the line 27 times, which is around what I'd be expecting for this game again.
also, last game Furman vrs Citadel, Furman blew a huge halftime lead to Citadel and wound up losing the game. thought it would be a good coaching spot to dig into his guys and make an example out of last game.
any good coach goes in and tells them its a game of runs and the goal is to make it a 10 point game with 10 mins left. cant get it all back at once.
UCGB has also been quite bad on the road this year, without a win yet. while I obviously didnt expect Furman to come back and win the game, I didn't think Greensboro would continuously shoot 60% from the field and.
still quite some time left so we shall see. was honestly expecting Furman to make a nice little run right out of the blocks in the 2nd half but it didnt happen.
The game of the decade\lifetime is only down 33-29 with 6 minutes to go. I hope Furman covers because I risked 55.00 on the attention grabbing title of the thread.
Greensboro finishes right at 60% and wins their 1st roadgame by 22....didnt see that one coming. oh well always next time. and lowell, the last like 8 games I've posted I call GOY because I find it funny that everyone has 20 games of the year every year. or month for that matter.
