see if we can keep it going

angels over the winds on the islands have now shifted to the summer winds that blow out and it's a liitle hotter out so ball will carry , lines makers should of had the low lines early when winds blow in on the island not 9's when the breeze goes out and it is not a large yard to begain with

good luck.

corked bats in mld are about 45% most of them are cupped you drill a hole down the middle about 3 to 4 inches , they key is to save the savings you either jam cork or rubber like eracier tops or bits of rubber, then you mix the shavings with woon putty and put it over the hole let it dry fro 2 days and sand it fine so hole cannot been seen. in college you take the tops of the bats off and stuff 2 tennis balls or 3 raquette ball in then glue top back on a bat like this will give you 20 25 feet tops and you still have to hit it on the sweet spot. you must also not drill to deep or wide or you will weaken the structure of bat and it will spit in half when it breaks. all players do use different bats for bo unstead of game bats and they are marked with blue or red tap around handle so they do not get mixed up because in a game you will have 4-5 bats in your rack so first i don't buy it was a bp bat and 2nd really not a big deal, he will get 8-10 games off i am sure but this is what mlb wants, they want the long ball because it sales tickets. that is why the juice issue is always talked about but not much done you test for juice and lay the law home runs would drop about 25 to 30 %. he got caught but it was a bull shit reason he gave because at home gates do not open early enough to see home team take bp you can catch the opp team. but it is the nature of the game. he came in at 175 as a player and now tips the scale at 248 i would say that is more of a issue then the bats. but like i said on each team half of the players will have them but they really don't make a big difference and infact it makes it a tighter sweet spot to hit , now when you hit the spot you will get the extra feet but not a great deal, but the bottom line you still have to hit . mlb wants runs and sell the long ball, if they want to cut the bs get rid of the jucie and i am telling you , that you will se a big drop in homeruns with out a doubt. will they give him 20 games out no-way players union would be all over the front office of mlb, i say 8-10 no pay. but now it will hurt his rep because the way the stupid media and people that have no clue about pro baseball look at it. everyone cheats in one way or another pitcher hitters it is only cheating if you get caught but his bp bat excuss really made him kook bad becasue bp bats are marked with tape most guys use a heavier club in bp which will also make the ball fly more but could not get it around in a game but helps with bat speed. this is a front office problem from the commish. they want runs and long ball to get fans now see hoe they handle it,they better do it with white gloves and they can xray all his bats and if everyonr has cork in it the will say the found nothing. they mlb donot need the problem since front office is the cause of most of it with the runs they want put up. that is why strike zone is like a nickle and you have so many hits in most game they cut off the corners, runs sell 2-1 does not. but he should of just said i made a mistake and got caught. hell the juice has made hime the power man not the 20-25 feet with cork and a smaller sweet spot.

How ironic and funny is it for Sosa to get up there and say he made a mistake and never purposely cheated in a game when it's so clear as day that he's on the sauce? It's laughable.

Hope all is well Eric......
