Braves + 130

Yes i have been riding la a lot and doing good with them in the spots that i pick. Nomo has started out on fire like he does most of the time but he alway comes crashing back down to earth at some point every so often, i also know that braves could be missing a big bat tonight in sheffield but the whole braves team is hitting the ball and not just a couple of guys they have won 21 out of last 25 games. I have said la is a good team and will be in it till the end, but you can't take anything away from the braves who look to run away again with the division crown. they are flat out playing very good baseball with or with out sheffield i think this price is wrong it started out about -115 then has been bet up to 140 due to 1 player who might not play and that is the only reason. so i will take my chances today and go with the braves and a very friendly price.

good luck

Eric

I think you are on target and the line is now +150 at SI. If it goes up to 170 I'll drop another 500. It is not like Hampton cannot pitch. I really do not understand the line.

Good insight.

thanks,
Bill

Eric, this could be the set-up of the day. I have a trend that is something like 35-6 on the year (don't have my paperwork with me so could be off a game or two). It calls for the fav in this game. I'm waiting until I know a little more before pulling the trigger. As always, good luck on anything you do.

ATLANTA (Reynolds) +110 over LOS ANGELES (Nomo)

This righty vs. righty matchup greatly favors the visiting team.
The Braves check in with an 8-4 road record against righthanders
(+$485 with 5.1 runs per game) while the Dodgers continue to
struggle against righties (-$475 with only 3-4 runs per game).
Reynolds had one bad start, but Atlanta is 4-1 in the games
he has started (+$240). It's hard to pass up a hot underdog
when they're taking on a team that can't hit

Felt I had to close this thread with the irony that ended the game last night. I thought it only appropriate that the line was off because Sheffield was possibly not playing then having him hit the double in the ninth that scored two insurance runs. :bigun:

Great call Eric and thanks for the post.
